I applied with NUS Business School’s MSc in Real Estate as I found the real estate market in Singapore to be an exciting and dynamic. The tutorials are given by professors who have both theory knowledge and work experience in the field, which made classes come alive and relatable. The courses also allowed me to meet many like-minded professionals in the industry and solidified my choice in NUS.

My biggest takeaway from the programme has been gaining a deep understanding of real estate fundamentals, market dynamics, and investment strategies. The rigorous coursework, industry exposure, and networking opportunities have expanded my professional network and positioned me for promising career prospects, bringing me closer to achieving my goals. One course that stood out for me was Real Estate Development, which provided a comprehensive understanding of a real estate developers day to day tasks, investment techniques, risk assessment, market analysis, and importance of leveraging.

The programme aligns my career goals with the real estate industry by combining my architectural background with business acumen, enabling me to lead teams, make informed decisions, and pursue diverse career opportunities. The diverse cohort and industry connections offered networking opportunities, while internships and industry events enriched my learning experience. My biggest takeaway has been gaining a comprehensive understanding of real estate as a crucial part of the broader business landscape, enhancing my ability to create value-driven architectural solutions.

My passion for investing grew and real estate was a natural path for me. From my conversations with professors in other universities as well as industry peers it was evident that the MSc in Real Estate programme is well recognised in the industry. Indeed, the programme provides a structured learning experience on real estate investing with real-world cases. Their professors have in-depth knowledge, and the class participants are diverse which adds to the learning opportunity.  

The MSc in Real Estate programme opens up a plethora of opportunities to learn and hear insights from the best. The journey has been like pandora’s box where we are challenged and to try something new.

The MSc in Real Estate programme has provided me the platform to meet and interact with international students and professionals from various expertise, thus broadening my connections. The professors are not only academically inclined, but they were also able to share industry knowledge given that they participate actively in the real estate developments and held significant positions in the industry. There were also many guest lectures which bring together real estate specialists who have shared their experience in the field that brings about a holistic experience.
